Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress best known for her film roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She earned a B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in films theater and television. Her acting journey began in theater and later appeared in several television series and independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. The BET's massive series The Book of Negroes she appeared. In addition, she get praise from critics for her role but did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. In 1995, she made her debut as Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway she was a part of the cast as a character in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. When it comes to film, she is renowned for her performances in films such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. The role she played as a regular on the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
