Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress best known for her film roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She earned a B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in films theater and television. Her acting journey began in theater and later appeared in several television series and independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico.
